Make sure your Chrome is up-to-date with the latest version
- Open the Chrome Browser
- In the URL bar type: chrome://chrome to go to the About Chrome Page
- Verify that it states: "Google Chrome is up to date." (Image 1)
- If it is not up-to-date, download the update, and restart the browser after the update is installed.

Check to make sure that the Chrome Extension is installed
- Open the Chrome Browser
- In the URL bar type: chrome://extensions to go to the Extension Page
- Verify that the TextRecruit Extension is listed and enabled (Image 2)
- Under permissions verify that "Allow Access to file URLs" is checked (Image 3)
- If you do not see the TextRecruit Extension, then you will need to download it (Image 4)

Need to Install Chrome Extension, steps are below
- If you do not see the TextRecruit Extensions, you can download it
- In the URL bar type: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/apps
- Search the store for "TextRecruit" (Image 5)
- Click "+ Add to Chrome" on the TextRecruit Extension offered by textrecruit.com (Image 6)
- Go back to Chrome Extensions (chrome://extensions) and verify the Extension is now in the Extension list (Image 7)

Chrome Cache and Cookies
Cookies are files created by websites visited. They store browsing information. Try clearing your Cache and Cookies.
Cache
- Open the Google Chrome Browser
- In the URL bar type: chrome://settings to go to the Settings Page
- Scroll to the bottom of the page
- Click on "Show Advanced Settings"
- Under "Privacy click "Clear browsing data"
- Click "Clear Data"
Cookies
- Under Privacy click "Content settings"
- Make sure "allow local data the be set" is selected (Image 9)
- Click "All Cookies and Site Data" (Image 9)
- In the "search cookies" box search "textrecruit" (Image 10)
- Click remove all shown
- Repeat the search for "LinkedIn"
- Click remove all shown
- Repeat for any other terms that involves an ATS/CRM browser search; including pages viewed to source candidates

Stuck on Authenticating when logging in, then follow steps below.
If you are not able to login into the Chrome extension and it seems frozen during authentication you probably have blocked third-party cookies read/writes.
To resolve this do the following:
1. Go to Chrome’s Settings (chrome://settings/)
2. Click *Advanced*
3. Select *Content Settings*
4. Select *Cookies*
5. Make sure *Block third-party cookies* is disabled.
6. Make sure the website you’re using the extension on is not whitelisted in the *Block* section.
